Technical yarns

N. Schlumberger builds complete production lines for technical yarns:

• carding and preparation of natural fibres (wool, flax, etc.) for coarse and medium yarns;
• stretch breaking line for the processing of high-strength synthetic fibres (PAN, PVA, aramid and para-aramid, carbon);
• crush cutting line for the processing of high-strength PES fibres.
• Long-staple technical yarns have many advantages: high strength, excellent elasticity and resistance to fatigue and outdoor temperatures. They can also be given shrinkage properties. Their use in high bulk is highly appreciated.
